Atlantis was originally donated as a service dog to Journey Together but failed because she would rather be loved on rather than work. Fortunately, she was able to remain with her puppy raisers who have now become Stacia’s guardian family for her Minneapolis kennel! Atlantis lives with the Dobish family in Oshkosh WI. Here is what they write:

“Atlantis could not be a sweeter dog. She is so gentle and loving to our family. Going on walks and car rides are her favorite pastimes and she has been known to chew on a few remote controls and socks. She loves to snuggle and loves nothing more than to be anywhere my kids and I are at. When one of us has had a rough day, she will sit and talk back in soft grunts as if to comfort us. Even though she is no longer part of a service dog program, she has continued her training with my daughter in the 4H Dog project in obedience, rally, and showmanship.”
