The Enigl family started their kennel in Bozeman, Montana in 2012.
Rob and Heather have been raising goldens in Bozeman, MT since 2012. Our home is located eight miles north of Bozeman and we are approximately 15-20 minutes from the Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport.
Rob grew up raising puppies and started in the show ring at age 7. By age 11 he was competing with his dog, Sage, in the obedience ring. Heather was introduced to Harvestime goldens when Rob and her started dating in high school. When we got married, we got our first girl Lucy (Harvestime Lucy in the Sky) and our twins, Lucas and Lydia, were born about 1.5 years later. Lucas and Lydia are now 14 years old and love helping out with the puppies. Our family loves being outdoors and enjoying all the recreation opportunities in Montana such as rafting, fly fishing, camping, and skiing.
Rob was paralyzed in a car accident in 2014. It was amazing to see therapy dogs in work while he was at the rehabilitation hospital in Denver, CO. Many of our goldens go on to do service or therapy work after leaving our home. Heather has taken over a majority of the kennel operations as Rob is now a member of the US Paralympic Alpine Ski Team and travels frequently in the winter to compete. Rob was a member of the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Team and continues to compete in World Cups internationally.
We moved into our current property approx. 2 years ago and are currently working on building our dream kennel facilities. As with our prior location, puppies are whelped in a room in our home where they can be closely monitored and then moved to our attached heated nursery kennel when they get bigger. There they have access to indoor and outdoor play areas and many different toys, tunnels, etc. to explore.

Golden Retrievers from Harvestime Kennel are bred from top show and performance lines. Our pedigrees are 75% Champion and 100% Kennel Lines. Our top-quality pups come from years of knowledgeable breeders breeding Golden Retrievers that should be bred.
We have 35+ years of breeding experience and are into our 7th generation of Golden Retrievers here at Harvestime Kennel. As responsible breeders, ALL of our TITLED adult dogs have hip, eye, heart and elbow clearances and genetic testing, as well as past generations!
Our goal is to produce healthy Golden Retrievers that are intelligent, structurally correct, beautiful and with a calm temperament well suited to families, therapy and service work.
