The consideration for this sale shall be the sum of $______________ plus the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:

The above puppy was examined by a licensed veterinarian on ____ and was found to be in good health. The health of this puppy is guaranteed for seven (7) working days through examination of a veterinarian of your choice, at the option and expense of the Buyer. If this puppy is found to be of unsatisfactory health, and written documentation of the condition is presented, the Seller shall refund 100% of the purchase price to the Buyer, provided the puppy and its registration papers are returned to the Seller within five (5) working days.

Buyer Responsibilities

This dog is to be fed LARGE BREED Puppy food (Royal Canin Golden Retriever Puppy Food suggested) or an All-Life Stage food until they are at least 9 months old.

The dog is to be kept at a healthy, lean weight, as identified in the slow growth plan provided by the Seller.  

This dog shall not be neglected or mistreated in any manner and shall receive adequate and proper veterinary care including keeping all immunizations current and using Heartworm preventative.

No breeding is allowed! The dog is sold on a limited registration. If dog is bred, the Seller will reclaim the dog at the Buyer’s expense, including legal fees, and the Buyer shall pay a $10,000 penalty.

Buyer guarantees Seller first right of refusal if the dog is to be sold or disposed of. The Buyer must notify the Seller if the dog is to be sold or rehomed. The Seller has 14 days to exercise the right of first refusal. If the Seller declines, the Buyer may rehome the dog with the Seller’s written approval. 

Guarantee Information

This guarantee is non-transferrable and applies only to the original buyer in this contract. This guarantee is:

·         Null and void if dog is more than 10% overweight at any time (over 28 pounds at 16 weeks for a male or female, over 70 pounds for an adult female, over 85 pounds for an adult male).

·         Null and void if dog is spayed or neutered before 9 months of age.

·         Null and void if dog has been bred

·         Null and void if dog has been fed a grain-free diet.

·         Null if and void if any of the above conditions have not been met.

Although we do our best to match personality, energy level, and temperament, there is no guarantee on these issues since socialization, life experiences, training, and environmental issues are beyond our control.

Health Guarantee

If the dog is diagnosed before 30 months of age with a covered condition (hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, inherited eye disorder, or heart murmur), the Buyer may:

1.       Be refunded 100% of the purchase price and retain the dog if diagnosed/rated with Moderate or Severe Hip Dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, or Moderate or Severe Elbow Dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Subject to dog not exceeding 10% of Slow-Growth recommendation!

2.       Be refunded 50-100% of the purchase price and retain the dog if diagnosed by a board certified veterinary Ophthalmologist with an Inherited Eye Disorder that seriously impairs normal eyesight, or diagnosed by a board certified cardiologist after 8 months of age with a Moderate to Loud heart murmur.

3.       Be refunded $200 and retain the dog if diagnosed with Mild Hip Dysplasia, Mild Elbow Dysplasia, an Inherited Eye Disorder that does not seriously impair normal eyesight, or with a Mild heart murmur after 8 months of age.

Upon receiving qualified written documentation, the Seller will issue refund within 30 days. UNDER NO CONDITION DOES THE REFUND EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.

Note: Urinary tract infections are common and are not covered under this health guarantee.

Other information

Seller warrants that she is the lawful owner of the dog; the dog is free of all encumbrances and that she has the right to sell the dog. Seller warrants that all puppies born at Harvestime Kennel are under their licensed control (Kennel License #268158-DS).

Harvestime Kennel is committed to supporting you and your dog. Please contact us with any concerns or updates about your dog’s health and well-being. Keep in touch with us throughout your dog’s life, as they were our dog first and will always be important to us!

After reading and fully understanding the above terms and conditions, we find them mutually agreeable and acceptable which constitutes a binding contract. This contract constitutes the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the sale hereinafter mentioned.
