River is mother to: Carlie, Cassie, Blaze, Jersey

River is a medium boned, medium golden dog with correct bite and excellent pigment. She is from one of my favorite combinations of Jazz and Peak! She has an athletic build, stable temperament and eager to please. River easily completed her Rally Obedience and Canine Good Citizen tests at 9 months! River, and her little sister, Willow, live with the Herdina family in Kaukauna. Here is what they have to say:

“We had lost our dog in the fall and in the spring we were looking at getting another one. We had some friends that had dogs from Harvestime and went to see if we could find the prefect one.
The result was our dog River, a match made in Heaven! River is a smart dog that took little effort to train. She is a great listener most of the time ( if there is a rabbit in the yard it may take a few laps around before she comes running back). She is a great companion dog who loves to also snuggle and watch movies with our two teenagers. She also loves to go on walks and play fetch. She is great around people and is always looking for some love! We are so glad to have River and her great smile.”

“Hi my name is River and I’m a golden retriever. I would like to tell you a little bit about my fury self. I live in Kaukauna, WI with the Herdina’s. We have a large fenced in yard where I love to chase rabbits, birds, the neighbors cat and the occasional mouse. One year I even got to chase a turkey around the yard for a bit. I love the water and snow and can wait until the white stuff flies soon. I have a sister named Willow who is also from Harvestime. It seems that Willow is most of the Herdina’s favorite dog in the house but there is one who loves me as #1 and that is papa Herdina. He and I have a special bond. We like to watch the Packers together, wrestle in the yard, play fetch with the football ( normally I don’t chew up a thing.. I have manners… but he lets me play all I want with footballs. He also know my two favorite spots to rub which is my belly and the top of my butt. I also love to play with my sister in the yard, fastest dog around the pool winner goes to me. Papa Herdina and I also like to take naps in the yard and look up and the sky on our backs. Some of my favorite foods are bananas, peanut butter and apples. DO NOT TELL the Herdina’s but I have been known to sneak an apple or two from the tree. Well time for me to go find a comfy spot for a nap… or should I chew on that bone over there.”
