We adopted Vale when she was 18 months old and she instantly settled into the heart of our home as if she’d always been here. Her adaptable, go-with-the-flow personality is a perfect match for our lifestyle, whether we’re traveling for our kids’ sports or heading out for an adventure. Living in the northwoods, she is a true adventurer who happily joins us on every excursion, from long hikes through the woods to week long camping trips. She even tries her paw at a little hunting and fishing, recently discovering a passion for swimming! 

Her personality is as golden as her coat. Vale has a playful, sassy side and can be charmingly stubborn when she has her mind set on something. Her independent spirit is matched by her incredibly affectionate heart; she is a world-class cuddler who loves nothing more than snuggling up after a long day. She is a friend to everyone she meets, with her happy-go-lucky spirit shining wherever she goes!
