Nessa is a WONDERFUL dog! She always gets compliments on how beautiful and well-behaved she is. She lives in Appleton with her human mom who is a high school science teacher. Nessa is lucky enough to be allowed to work as a curriculum dog – she goes to school every other day with her mom and works with high school animal behavior classes. The students utilize her as a learning tool and they do things like designing intelligence tests for her to complete, teaching her tricks/skills using shaping, and observing her behavior and making inferences about her. 

She loves every single person she has ever met and never gets tired of attention. Even after being at school all day and meeting hundreds of people, she still loves receiving attention from strangers on our evening walks. As soon as someone approaches her, she lays down and shows them her belly for pets – her lack of fear makes her the ideal dog to work with many different people in many different environments.
