Montana Litters

The Montana Kennel expanded to a new property and is looking for Guardian Homes for a male and some female pups. Contact [email protected] or call 406-600-5997 if you are interested. See the guardian contract under the Forms tab.

The Montana kennel will have litters due in April/May/June which are available in June/July/August, as well as throughout the fall.

You must get on a Puppy Reservation List if you’d like to receive a puppy! There is a 12 month limit to stay on the list without reserving a puppy. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to be added to the list. This enables us to make informed breeding decisions and, more importantly, give our families an accurate time frame on reserving a puppy!

Reservations are not taken for specific litters since we have no idea if pregnancies occur, litter size and sexes of pups. A few days after birth, we send an email letting everyone on the list know that there is a three-day opportunity to request a puppy. They are reserved according to seniority of those that make requests. If there are 30 requests for seven pups, the seven most senior families on the list that requested a pup will get one. They come off the list and the rest move up! Once a puppy is reserved, a $200 non-refundable deposit is due within a week along with the Puppy Preference Form. We do not take requests for pups before they are born.

Pups are ALWAYS first offered to those on the MT list that will travel to Bozeman for pick up. If there are pups yet available after that, and we are able to, we will offer pups to the WI list. We will bring pups to the Menasha kennel for pick up for a $200 travel fee. Since there is no sales tax in MT, the cost is only $40 more than WI pups. This will NOT happen with every litter.

We will choose a puppy best suited for you based on the Puppy Preference Form. We do not allow breeding. Pups are sold as pets only!

We do not ship our puppies. You must fly in and take the puppy home as carry-on (closest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International which is 20 minutes from our home).

Puppies are $2,950. Montana has no sales tax (a savings of $160). Pups will be $3,100 in 2026.
